Modification of wall thickness caliper
The digital wall thickness caliper (573-662-20) from Mitutoyo was modified here. At the customer's request, the existing pin with ø3mm and 32mm length was removed and replaced with a newly manufactured carbide pin with ø2.4mm and 10mm length.
The caliper was then checked and calibrated by Mitutoyo in Neuss to determine error limits and the accuracy of the measuring range after the conversion.
